Buchanan & Edwards Appoints Pamela Rothka as Interim President

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11, 2019 — Buchanan & Edwards Inc., an award-winning and fast-growing technology leader creating transformative solutions for government customers, announced today that Pamela Rothka has been appointed as interim president. Rothka has served as the company’s chief financial officer since 2015, playing a key role in the company’s successful move into the mid-tier including leading its acquisition of intelligence firm R2C. Former president and CEO Dennis Kelly is leaving the company to join a mid-market private equity platform holding company within the portfolio of Arlington Capital Partners.

Rothka’s experience spans across several industries including public, private and private equity backed government contracting companies as well as public accounting firms. She has a proven track record of leading financial strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and transformational change management initiatives that deliver results. Before joining Buchanan & Edwards, Rothka held executive financial positions with Whitney, Bradley and Brown and Hewlett-Packard, and had a 15-year career at Lockheed Martin in which she held roles with increasing responsibility.

Rothka was recognized as one of the Rising Stars of GovCon by DCA Live in 2018, and a Trending 40 CFO by DCA Live in 2017. She is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Drexel University as well as a Master’s in Business Administration in computer information sciences from Temple University.

Rothka is an active supporter of charities that Buchanan & Edwards sponsors, including the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore, Women in Technology and the Year Up National Capital Region. Rothka also serves on the board of directors for the Mid-Atlantic chapter of Make-A-Wish.
